Actually I think Steve is right and it is about time Turkey was called on the carpet for their behavior.

Professor Berk's comments were fascinating and provocative as hell! While I can't quarrel with the the accuracy of his facts. It is his recommended actions for Jews and Israeli sympathizers that trouble me. He recommends a boycott of Turkish goods as well as visits to Turkey. This is analagous to what I think were appropriate responses to the actions of Nazi Germany in the early 30's. But Erdogan, despite his evident hostility to Israel - and very possibly to Jews- is no Adolf Hitler, and Turkey today no Nazi Germany. I think f such a suggested boycott might have very undesirable, unintended consequences.
